“Windows cannot find regsvr.exe” as shown below. You may face similar problems like “Windows cannot find explorer.exe” etc. This is because the virus had assigned a registry value to execute itself during the startup. As you have removed the virus, the system can no longer find this virus file and hence the error message.
This problem has a very easy solution. Just follow the steps below:
Step 1: Press Start+R and type regedit. It will open registry editor. But if you get an error like Registry editor has been disabled by the administrator then you need to enable the registry editor. To enable registry editor click: How to enable Registry Editor (REGEDIT).
Step 2: Now after opening the registry editor, follow the registry path as follows:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
This path is also shown in the images below:
Step 3: After opening Winlogon look for Shell in the right pane of the registry editor as shown.
Step 4: Double Click the Shell registry value. You can find “Explorer.exe regsvr.exe” in the Value data field.
Step 5: Delete regsvr.exe alone and click OK.
Step 6: Now the registry has been changed. Closed all programs and restart.
After restart you can find that the message is no longer shown.
N.B.: Make sure that you don’t delete Explorer.exe from the Shell registry.

Restore the default font style options
To restore the font to the default setting of 11-point Calibri, do the following:- On the Tools menu, click Options.

Ctrl key and simultaneously zoomed out using the mouse wheel. When font became samll enough to my liking, saved the message and closed it. It corrected the problem for other messages as well.

How to add folder options if it were removed from the tools
There may be various cases for Folder Options disappearance. It may be either by certain tools or it may be the virus.
If Folder Options is disabled but Registry Editor is still working in your system, then you can enable Folder Options by editing Windows Registry.

Ensure that MESSAGES has a check next to it. I found a user with this problem. She'd inadvertently changed the setting to UNREAD MESSAGES IN THIS FOLDER.

I don't see anything there about a link. Give it a try for starters.
Are the shortcut icons all right?
The "shortcut" you gave as an example is a web site URL, and so is not the same thing as a shorcut to an application on your computer. Do all your shorcuts do this, or only those to web sites?
You may need to try the UrlFile File Association Fix as well as the other if both types of shorcut are affected.
A reboot or restart of explorer.exe may be necessary to see any changes

There could be many factors which could lead to having calls with no audio. We recommend verifying the following:
Verify that your microphone is properly connected and functioning. Use another application like Windows Sound Recorder (Start

Entertainment) to verify. You may need to ensure the microphone is selected as the audio input device in Control Panel
Sounds and Audio Devices

Volume.
Verify that the microphone is currently selected (Options
Devices page in eyeBeam/X-Lite, Preferences
Devices page in Bria).
Call yourself and start speaking and verify that the microphone VU meter is moving up and down to see if your microphone is being detected. Press the record button and verify that you are being recorded.

Filter for honor
Double click on the honor line and change the value to 1
Save and restart.
